About the Creators

I didn’t start my career knowing how to tell a story with data, I had to learn the hard way that technical brilliance is useless if your audience doesn't understand the "So What?". During my time as a Professor and Executive I quickly realized that decision-makers are overwhelmed with data. More data usually leads to cognitive overload and bad decisions. The true differentiator is the ability to  craft a narrative that drives action. With a PhD in Computing and a deep background in strategic planning , leadership and data analytics I have dedicated my career to translating strategic vision into easy-to-understand, tangible results. I created The Data Storyteller: From Insight to Impact to share the frameworks, design principles, and delivery tactics I have used. My ultimate goal at Dr. Andrew's Training Academy (DATA) is to transform you from a reactive analyst into a persuasive communicator. Whether you are presenting your first dashboard or fighting for executive buy-in, I am here to help you turn your data into a compelling story that demands action.
